No one under 16 years of age will be allowed in the pits

  1. DRIVERS MUST REMAIN IN THE VEHICLE WITH HELMET, SEATBELT, EYE PROTECTION AND STEERING WHEEL ON UNTIL NOTIFIED BY AN OFFICIAL THAT IS SAFE TO EXIT THE CAR. LONG SLEVES AND PANTS ARE REQUIRED, FIREPROOF CLOTHING IS SUGGESTED

  2. DRIVER ONLY IN TECH LINE IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE VEHICALS HAVE A CREW MEMBER BRING IT UP TOGETHER OR BRING IT UP AFTER YOURSELF.

  3. TECH CLOSES 1 HOUR BEFORE SHOW TIME. DO NOT WAIT TO COME TO TECH YOU WILL NOT GET A CHANCE TO FIX ANYTHING THAT’S WRONG

  4. DRIVER DOOR HITS ARE ILLEGAL. IF THE HIT IS DEEMED BY AN OFFICIAL TO BE CARELESS OR INTENTIONAL, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. IF YOU USE YOUR DRIVER’S DOOR AS A DEFENSE, WE WILL NOT ENFORCE THE RULE.

  5. NO HOT RODDING IN THE PITS. KEEP IT AT AN IDLE.

  6. ANY OPEN DOOR WILL BE CAUSE FOR DISQUALIFICATION. BROKEN SEAT WILL CAUSE FOR DISQUAIFCATION.

  7. YOU ARE ALLOWED ONE FIRE. A SECOND FIRE WILL BE CAUSE FOR DISQUALIFICATION. YOU MAY RETURN IN LATER ROUNDS.

  8. SANDBAGGING IS NOT TOLERATED AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. LOCKING UP BRAKES PRIOR TO A HIT FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN A DRIVERS DOOR HIT WILL BE CAUSE FOR DISQUALIFICATION. THE FANS PAY TO SEE A SHOW, PUT ONE ON FOR THEM!

  9. NO TEAMING THIS WILL CAUSE FOR DISQUALIFICATION.

  10. YOU MUST MAKE AN AGGRESSIVE HIT EVERY 60 SECONDS.

  11. THERE IS NO ALCOHOL IN THE PITS. THIS INCLUDES PIT CREWS. IF YOU OR YOUR CREW IS CAUGHT WITH ALCOHOL, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

    1.  ALL AIRBAGS MUST BE REMOVED, CHECK FOR THEM ALL IN STEERING WHEEL, PASS DASH, RH AND LH ROOF RH AND LH LOWER DASH AND SEATS. ALL CARS MUST BE COMPLETELY STRIPPED UPON ARRIVAL. NO LOOSE PICES, BROKEN GLASS OR TRASH LEFT IN VEHICALS,

    2. NO AMBULANCES, NO TRUCKS OR TRUCK FRAMES. PLEASE REACH OUT IF YOU HAVE QUESTION ON CAR CHOICE.

    3. THIS CLASS IS OPEN TO ANY FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CAR 4 OR 6 CYL WITH A WHEELBASE OF 108” OR LESS, OR ANY REAR WHEEL DRIVE 4 OR 6 CYL CAR 105” WHEELBASE OR LESS.

    4. STOCK MEANS STOCK ALL CARS ARE CONSIDERED STOCK EXCEPT ANYTHING SPECIFIED IN THESE RULES. ALL RUST OR ROT REPAIR MUST BE OK’ED BY HEAD TECH/OFFICAL.

    5. ALL OFFICALS DECISIONS WILL BE FINAL SAY.

    6. ALL CARS MUST BE CLEAN AND FREE OF DEBRIS UPON ARRIVAL TO TRACK. ALL GLASS, CHROME TRIM, DOOR HANDLES AND TRIM MUST BE REMOVED.

    7. NO RE-STUBBING OR PIECING MULTIPLE FRAMES TOGETHER. ALL FRAMES, FRAME PARTS AND CROSSMEMBERS MUST BE OEM.

    8. ALL INTERIOR REAR SEATS AND TRIM MUST BE REMOVED. ALL REAR INTERIOR AND SEATING OF STATION WAGONS MUST BE REMOVED

    9. ALL CARS MUST HAVE A NUMBER OR SLOGAN DISPLAYED ON EACH SIDE OF VEHICLE LARGE ENOUGH FOR ANNOUNCER TO READ, A ROOF SIGN IS ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. NO PROFANITY OR VULGAR SAYINGS. WE HAVE ALSO BEEN REQUESTED BY OUR FAIR BOARDS TO DO AWAY WITH MIDDLE FINGER FLAPPERS ON THE HEADERS.

    CAGES

    1. A 4-POINT CAGE, HALO BAR AND GAS TANK PROTECTOR WILL BE ALLOWED BUT NOT REQUIRED – FOR DRIVER PROTECTION ONLY! ANYTHING IN EXCESS WILL BE FORCED TO CUT OR LOADED AT JUDGE’S DISCRETION.

    2. BARS MUST BE SHEET METAL TO SHEET METAL. BARS MUST BE SINGLE BARS, NOT STACKED OR DOUBLED. THEY MUST BE AT LEAST 5” FROM THE ANY PART OF THE FIRE WALL AND FLOOR AT ANY POINT INCLUDING TRANSMISSION AND DRIVESHAFT TUNNELS. THE BACK BAR MAY NOT BE ANY FURTHER BACK THAN THE KICK PANELS. FRONT BAR MAY NOT CONTOUR THE BODY. IT MUST RUN STRAIGHT ACROSS. ALL BARS MUST BE INSIDE THE DRIVER’S COMPARTMENT EXCEPT ROOF BAR. ALL CAGE BARS MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 2” X 2” X 1/8” AND BE NO BIGGER THAN 4” X 4” EXCEPT SIDE BARS. SIDE BARS MAY BE C-CHANNEL UP TO 6” OR 2’X6’ BOX STEEL. SIDE BARS CAN BE NO MORE THAN 60” TOTAL. IF SIDE BARS ARE USED, YOU MUST HAVE BOTH FRONT AND REAR CROSS BARS. IF SIDE BARS ARE NOT USED, MOUNTING PLATES NOT EXCEEDING ¼” X 6” X 6” MAY BE USED ON THE ENDS OF THE SEAT BAR AND DASH BAR. SIDE BARS CAN GO NO FURTHER FORWARD THAN THE CROSS BAR AND CANNOT CONTOUR ANY PART OF THE SHEET METAL.

    3. TWO 2” X 2” DOWN BARS WILL BE ALLOWED FROM THE SIDE BARS AND MUST BE BOLTED OR WELDED TO THE BODY (CANNOT ATTACH TO THE FRAME). DOWN BARS MUST REMAIN COMPLETELY IN FRONT OF THE REAR CROSSBAR AND BEHIND THE DASH BAR AND MUST REMAIN 90 DEGREES STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN OFF THE DASH/SEAT BAR OR SIDE BARS. NO PART OF THESE DOWN BARS CAR PENATRATE THE SHEETMETAL. IF THE DOWN BARS ARE EVEN WITH OR BEHIND THE REAR CROSS BAR YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO CUT THEM OUT AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPLACE THEM THIS IS THE SAME IF THEY ARE EVEN OR IN FRONT OF THE DASH BAR THEY WILL BE REMOVED. YOU MAY USE A 4” X 4” ¼ INCH PLATE WHERE THE DOWN BARS ATTACH TO THE BODY. THIS IS FOR DRIVER’S PROTECTION ONLY. A ROOF BAR (HALO) MAY BE USED. IT MUST GO STRAIGHT ACROSS AND STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN 90 DEGREES DO NOT ANGLE TOWARDS FRONT OR BACK OF THE CAR AND MAY BE BOLTED OR STITCH WELDED WITH ONE INCH WELDS IN THREE PLACES TO THE ROOF ONLY. THE HALO MUST COME OFF YOUR REAR SEAT BAR. MAX. 4” X 4” BAR OR 6” C-CHANNEL. IF YOU CAN NOT WELD THEN BOLT!!! THE CAGE AND ROLL OVER ARE FOR DRIVERS SAFETY ONLY MAY NOT STRENGTHEN THE CAR IN ANY WAY. 1 GUSSET PER CORNER ALLOWED, DO NOT GET CARRIED AWAY OR YOU WILL CUT IT. NO FLOATING PLATES, 9 WIRE, CHAIN, ETC. CAN BE USED BETWEEN THE CAGE AND FRAME OR BODY EXCEPT WHERE STATED.

    4. GAS TANK PROTECTOR CAN BE TIGHT TO THE SPEAKER DECK. PROTECTOR CAN BE 24IN WIDE AND NO LONGER THEN 32INCHS. NO PART OF THE GAS TANK PROTECTOR CAN MEASURE WIDER THEN 24INCHS WIDE INCLUDING THE BARS THAT RUN FROM HALO TO TANK PROTECTOR.

    5. NO MORE THAN TWO (2) WINDSHIELD BAR OR CHAIN MAY BE ATTACHED FROM THE ROOF (NO MORE THAN 3” UP THE ROOF) TO THE COWL AREA (NO MORE THAN 3” BELOW) ON THE FRONT WINDSHIELD AREA ONLY TO PROTECT THE DRIVER. THIS MAY NOT BE USED AS A STRENGTHENER OR TO KEEP A CAR FROM BENDING.

    GAS TANK

    1. ALL ORIGINAL GAS TANKS MUST BE REMOVED.

    2. A SAFE FUEL CELL CAN BE MOUNTED TO THE CAGE ON THE GAS TANK PROTECTOR.

    3. FUEL LINES NEED TO BE SAFE AS WELL AS FUEL PUMP MOUNTING, LINES SHOULD BE DOUBLE CLAMPED FOR SAFETY.

    4. TANKS MUST BE LOCATED BEHIND THE FRONT SEAT AND MUST BE SECURELY FASTENED WITH CHAINS, BOLTS OR BRACKET. ZIP SCREWS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE A FRAME FOR THE PURPOSE OF MOUNTING YOUR GAS TANK, IT MAY EITHER BE MOUNTED TO THE SEAT BAR OR BOLTED TO THE FLOOR SHEET METAL, NOT BOTH. ALL GAS TANK FRAMES/MOUNTS MAY BE NO WIDER THAN 24” IN ANY VEHICLE OR LONGER THAN 32” IN ALL CARS. ADDITIONALLY, GAS TANK MOUNTS MAY NOT BE USED AS A TECHNICAL ADVANTAGE ON A CAR.

    BODY AND FRAME:

    1. ALL BODY MOUNTS MUST REMAIN IN STOCK LOCATIONS. IF OEM BODY MOUNTS ARE USED, THE PORTION OF THE OEM MOUNT BETWEEN THE FRAME AND BODY CANNOT BE ALTERED INCLUDING THE METAL CONE INSIDE OF RUBBER MOUNT. IF YOU CHOSE TO REPLACE OEM BODY MOUNTS, THE OEM MOUNTS MAY ONLY BE SUBSTITUTED WITH AN ACTUAL RUBBER HOCKEY PUCK MUST MAINTAIN A 1 INCH SPACE BETWEEN BODY AND K-FRAME/SUB FRAME (NO HOMEMADE PLASTIC OR METAL SPACERS ALLOWED). THEY MUST BE POSITIONED IN THE ORIGINAL LOCATION AND WITH THE SAME INTENT AS THE FACTORY INSTALLS THEM, BUT BOLTS MAY TRAVEL THROUGH THE TOP OF FLOOR. BODY MOUNT BOLTS MAY BE REPLACED MAX ALLOWABLE SIZE WILL BE 5/8” AND MAX LENGTH IS 8”. A SINGLE WASHER, NO LARGER THAN ¼” X 4” X 4”, MAY BE PLACED ON THE TOP (INSIDE CAR WHERE BOLT STICKS THROUGH FLOOR) AND A SINGLE ¼”X4”X4” WASHER ON BOTTOM OF BODY MOUNT BOLTS INSIDE OF FRAME. BODY MOUNT BOLT AND WASHER MUST BE INSIDE OF THE FRAME. NO WELDING WASHERS TO CAR BODY OR FRAME. DO NOT ADD OR RELOCATE BODY MOUNTS AND/OR BOLTS. K-MEMBER AND SUBFRAME MOUNTS WILL BE CONSIDERED BODY MOUNTS. MAXIMUM SIZE OF K-MEMBER OR SUBFRAME BOLTS PERMITTED IS THE OEM SIZE FOR THAT VEHICLE. COMPACT CARS WITH SUBFRAMES AND FULL SIZE SUBFRAME AND PINCH-FRAME CARS MAY REPLACE OEM MOUNTS WITH HOCKEY PUCKS. THERE MUST BE A 1” SPACE IN BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE BODY, DO NOT MODIFY THE HOCKEY PUCKS IN ANY WAY.

    2. DRIVERS DOOR MAY BE WELDED SOLID WITH 3’’ BY ¼ FLAT PLATE, YOU MAY ALSO SKIN THE OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR WITH ¼”STEEL, OR A PIECE OF C-CHANNEL 8 INCHS BY ¼ THIS CAN ONLY EXTEND 4 INCHS ONTO FRONT FENDER AND 4 INCHS PAST REAR DOOR SEAM.

    3. THE REMAINING DOORS CAN BE WELDED 4 SPOTS PER VERTICAL SEAM 3”BY ¼ PLATE OR WIRED/CHAINED IN 4 SPOTS PER VERTICAL SEAM ONLY ONE OF THESE OPTIONS CAN BE USED.

    4. TRUNK CAN BE WELDED 2 SPOTS ON EACH OUTTER SEAM 3”BY ¼ FLAT PLATE, OR WIRED/CHAINED IN 4 SPOTS, NO COMBINATION OF THESE OPTIONS. TAILGATES ON WAGONS CAN BE WELDED 2 SPOTS PER-SIDE ON THE VERTICAL SEAM WITH 3”BY ¼ PLATE, OR 4 SPOTS WITH 9 WIRE/CHAIN. NO MORE THEN 3 STRANDS OF WIRE PER HOLE NO LARGER THEN 3/8 CHAIN.

    5. TRUNK CAN BE TUCKED AT A 90. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 8”X8” HOLE CUT FOR INSPECTION. NO MORE THEN 6 3/8 BOLTS WITH 1 INCH WASHERS PER HOLE.

    6. QUARTER PANELS CAN BE CREASED FROM C-PILLAR BACK. QUARTERS MUST REMAIN VERTICAL ABSOLUTLY NO WEDGING THE REAR OF THE CAR. TRUNK FLOOR AND TRUNK LID MUST HAVE A 8 INCH GAP. YOU CAN PRE-BEND THE REAR TO HELP THE CAR TO BEND UP.

    7. YOU CAN RUN A SINGLE FRONT WINDOW BAR 3’’ FLAT STEEL OR 3/8 CHAIN BOLTED TO ROOF AND COWL AREA

    8. NO FRAME WELDING ALLOWED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

    9. WE WILL ALLOW 4 ADDITIONAL PLATES ON ALL SEMI-STOCK CLASSES WHICH INCLUDE SEMI STOCK COMPACT AND SEMI STOCK V8. NO BUMPER SWAP CARS, MINI VANS/TRUCKS/SUV OR FARM TRUCKS WILL BE ALLOWED ADDED PLATE. THE PLATE ALLOWED MUST BE A MAXIMUM OF 4 INCHES BY 4 INCHES BY 1/4 INCH THICK (4”X4”X1/4”) THERE MUST BE A 1/4” HOLE DRILLED IN THE CENTER OF THE PLATE, WHICH CANNOT BE PLUG WELDED. PLATE MUST REMAIN SQUARE (FOUR 90-DEGREE CORNERS). THERE WILL BE NO MORE THAN 4 PLATES ALLOWED TOTAL, WITH NO MORE THAN 2 PLATES PER FRAME RAIL. YOU CANNOT USE PLATES TO CONNECT SUB FRAME, FRAME OR BODY. THE PLATE MUST COMPLETELY REMAIN ON THE SUB FRAME OR FRAME, OR COMPLETELY ON SHEET METAL. THE PLATE MAY NOT BE USED OFF ANY PART OF THE CAGE. THE PLATE MAY NOT BE MANIPULATED IN ANY WAY. IF ANY PART OF THE PLATE IS REMOVED IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE ADDED ELSEWHERE. THE WELDS TO ATTACH THE PLATES ARE SINGLE PASS NO MORE THAN ½ INCH WIDE. THERE MUST BE AT LEAST ½ INCH BETWEEN THE WELDS THAT ATTACH THE PLATE OR ADDED MATERIAL OR WELDS. ANY ATTACHED PLATE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE REMOVED AND PLACED ELSEWHERE. YOU CAN ADD THE PLATES AT ANY TIME - FRESH, AFTER THE HEATS, SECOND RUN, THIRD RUN, ETC. BUT NO MORE THAN 4 PLATES WILL BE ALLOWED TOTAL. DO NOT ASK FOR ADDITIONAL PLATES OR FIXES FOR BENDS. CHOOSE WISELY THE USE OF THE GIVEN MATERIAL. THE PLATES MUST BE PAINTED WHITE. IF ANY PORTION OF THIS RULE IS NOT FOLLOWED THE ENTIRE PLATE WILL BE REMOVED AND YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REPLACE IT.

    10. ANY FOREIGN MATERIAL IN THE FRAME OR SUB-FRAME WILL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION/LOAD NO FIX WILL BE GIVEN. (EXAMPLES STEEL, CONCRETE FOAM ETC.)

    11. YOU ARE ALLOWED 4 SPOTS OF 9 WIRE 3 STRANDS PER HOLE IN 4 LOCATIONS OF YOUR CHOICE.

    HOOD:

    1. HOOD MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 10” X 10” HOLE ON EACH SIDE OF THE AIR CLEANER FOR FIRE PERSONNEL; HOOD/TRUNK CUTOUT BOLTS MAY BE USED. MAX. 6 PER HOLE, NO LARGER THAN 3/8” BOLTS AND 1¼” INCH WASHERS. IF YOU ARE USING ENGINE DRIVEN PLASTIC FAN, HOOD MUST COVER FAN AND EXTEND 6” PAST FAN BLADE. HOOD MAYBE SECURED IN (1) FOUR SPOTS WITH 3/8” CHAIN (2) FOUR SPOTS WITH THREE STRANDS OF #9 WIRE OR (3) FOUR PIECES OF NO MORE THAN 2” ANGLE IRON NO LONGER THAN 2” IN LENGTH WITH ONE 3/8” BOLT MAY BE USED. ANY PLACE A BOLT PASSES THROUGH A TIE-DOWN IS CONSIDERED ONE SPOT.

    2. ALL HOODS MUST OPEN ON STOCK HINGES OR REMOVED COMPLETELY FOR INSPECTION REGARDLESS OF CUTOUT SIZE. YOU CANNOT WELD THE HOOD DIRECTLY TO THE CAR.

    BRAKES & STEERING:

    1. A WORKING HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM IS REQUIRED. YOU MUST EXHIBIT THE ABILITY TO STOP. ANYONELOSING THEIR BRAKES DURING AN EVENT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

    2. STEERING MAY BE ALTERED FROM THE STEERING BOX/RACK TO THE STEERING WHEEL.

    WHEELS AND TIRES:

    1. NO STUDDED TIRES ALLOWED. NO WATER OR CONCRETE FILLED TIRES ALLOWED. ANY AIR FILL RUBBER TIRE ALLOWED, ANY PLY RATING.

    2. SMALL 1/4 INCH MULTI-LUG CENTERS ALLOWED, BEAD STIFFENERS ALLOWED. NO BEAD LOCKS ALLOWED. NO FULL CENTERS. SMALL SOLID FORKLIFT TIRES ALLOWED ON REAR OF FRONT WHEEL DRIVE COMPACTS.

    BUMPERS:

    1. ANY OEM CAR BUMPER ALLOWED. BUMPER CAN BE SEAM WELDED AND LOADED INSIDE. BUMPER ENDS CAN BE TRIMMED OR BENT IN.

    2. HOMEMADE BUMPER ALLOWED ON FRONT OF CAR. 8” X 8” MAX SIZE. YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO PUT A POINT ON THE FRONT OF THE BUMPER WITH A MAX DEPTH OF 4” CARRIED ACROSS 32”. THE BUMPER CANNOT BE ANY WIDER THAN THE CENTER OF THE TIRES AND THE ENDS MUST BE CAPPED - NO JAGGED EDGES. THE BACK OF THE BUMPER CANNOT GO FURTHER BACK THAN THE FRONT OF THE FACTORY BODY MOUNTS. YOU CAN USE 2 3” X 6” ¼ PLATES PER FRAME RAIL TO HELP HOLD BUMPER ON. WILL BE MEASURED 6” OFF BACK OF BUMPER ANYTHING LONGER WILL BE REMOVED COMPLETELY. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE CAN BE ADDED IF YOU REMOVE IT, YOU CANNOT ADD IT BACK ON IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION TO STRENGTHEN CAR.     3. ONLY 1 REAR BUMPER ALLOWED OEM OR 3” X 6” 3/16 TUBE. MUST BE BOLTED OR WELDED ON THE FACTORY LOCATION/MOUNT.

    4. FRONT BUMPER CAN BE WELDED DIRECTLY TO END OF THE FRAME, YOU CAN SHORTEN THE FRAME RAIL TO THE FRONT EDGE OF THE K FRAME. IT CAN NOT BE MOUNTED OVER OR IN ANYWAY AFFECT THE FRONT K FRAME MOUNT. THE BACK OF THE BUMPER CANNOT GO FURTHER BACK THAN THE FRONT OF THE FACTORY BODY MOUNTS.

    5. IF HARD NOSING THE FRONT BUMPER, YOU CANNOT USE ANY BUMPER SHOCKS INSIDE THE FRAME RAIL. THE BUMPER SHOCK CAN BE WELDED 6INCHS FROM THE BACK BUMPER SKIN NOTHING FURTHER THEN 6 INCHES. IT CAN ONLY BE MOUNTED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RAIL NOT ON THE TOP OF THE FRAME OR INSIDE OF FRONT RAIL. IF CAR HAS A FACTORY BUMPER SHOCK IT CAN BE COMPRESSED AND WELDED IN PLACE.

    6. ALL BUMPERS MUST HAVE TWO CHAINS (MAX OF 3/8”) OR TWO SPOTS  9-WIRE (MAX OF TWO STRANDS) FROM BUMPER TO SHEET METAL. YOU MAY WELD THE CHAIN TO THE BUMPER AND TO THE FRAME, ONE LINK ONLY ON EACH AND WELDS CANNOT COVER EXISTING FRAME HOLES OR BE FURTHER BACK THAN 3” ON THE FRAME (THIS IS STRICTLY TO HELP HOLD THE BUMPER IN PLACE - IF THIS IS DETERMINED TO BE USED AS AN ADVANTAGE, YOU WILL BE REMOVING IT).     5.       NO MORE THAN TWO (2) WINDSHIELD BAR OR CHAIN MAY BE ATTACHED FROM THE ROOF (NO MORE THAN 3” UP THE ROOF) TO THE COWL AREA (NO MORE THAN 3” BELOW) ON THE FRONT WINDSHIELD AREA ONLY TO PROTECT THE DRIVER. THIS MAY NOT BE USED AS A STRENGTHENER OR TO KEEP A CAR FROM BENDING.

    GAS TANK

    1.       ALL ORIGINAL GAS TANKS MUST BE REMOVED.

    2.       A SAFE FUEL CELL CAN BE MOUNTED TO THE CAGE ON THE GAS TANK PROTECTOR.

    3.       FUEL LINES NEED TO BE SAFE AS WELL AS FUEL PUMP MOUNTING, LINES SHOULD BE DOUBLE CLAMPED FOR SAFETY.

    4.       TANKS MUST BE LOCATED BEHIND THE FRONT SEAT AND MUST BE SECURELY FASTENED WITH CHAINS, BOLTS OR BRACKET. ZIP SCREWS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE A FRAME FOR THE PURPOSE OF MOUNTING YOUR GAS TANK, IT MAY EITHER BE MOUNTED TO THE SEAT BAR OR BOLTED TO THE FLOOR SHEET METAL, NOT BOTH.     2.       ALL WHEEL WEIGHTS MUST BE REMOVED, INCLUDING ON THE INSIDE OF THE WHEELS.

    3.       VALVE STEM GUARDS AND VARIABLE LUG CENTERS WILL BE ALLOWED.

    15.   ANY FOREIGN MATERIAL IN THE FRAME OR SUBFRAME (STEEL, CONCRETE, FOAM, ETC) WILL RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC LOAD - NO FIX WILL BE GIVEN. ANYTHING IN QUESTION WILL BE SCOPED.

    BUMPERS

    1.       BUMPER OPTIONS. ANY OEM CAR BUMPER CAN BE USED. MAY BE SEAM WELDED AND STUFFED, NO SHARP/JAGGED EDGES. REAR BUMPER CAN BE HOMEMADE 3’’X 6’’ 3/16 MUST BE FLAT, NO POINTY REAR BUMPER, THERE ARE SOME OEM REPLICA REAR BUMPERS IF YOU WANT TO GO THIS ROUTE IT MUST OK’D BEFORE RUNNING.  NO RAMP DESIGNED REAR BUMPERS, REAR BUMPER MUST BE MOUNTED 90 DEGREES TO THE END OF THE FRAME RAIL.

    2.       B. HOMEMADE BUMPER IS ALLOWED. BUMPER CAN BE A MAXIMUM OF 8INX8IN WITH A 4IN POINT OVER 32IN THIS MUST BE CENTERED. BUMPER CAN BE AS WIDE AS THE CENTER OF THE FRONT TIRES. ANY PART OF THE BUMPER THAT MEASURES LARGER THAN THE SPECIFIED DIMENSIONS WILL HAVE TO CUT IT.

    4.       BUMPER MOUNTING, YOU MAY HARDNOSE THE BUMPER TO THE FRONT FACE OF THE FRAME, BUMPER CANNOT SLIDE OVER THE FRAME RAILS IN ANY WAY OR BE BUILT ROUND THE FRAME RAILS. YOU CAN USE A 6INX6IN ¼ THICK PLATE BETWEEN BUMPER AND FRAME RAIL TO MOUNT BUMPER.     1. DRIVERS MUST REMAIN IN THE VEHICLE WITH HELMET, SEATBELT, EYE PROTECTION AND STEERING WHEEL ON UNTIL NOTIFIED BY AN OFFICIAL THAT IS SAFE TO EXIT THE CAR. LONG SLEVES AND PANTS ARE REQUIRED, FIREPROOF CLOTHING IS SUGGESTED

    2. DRIVER ONLY IN TECH LINE IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE VEHICALS HAVE A CREW MEMBER BRING IT UP TOGETHER OR BRING IT UP AFTER YOURSELF.

    3. TECH CLOSES 1 HOUR BEFORE SHOW TIME. DO NOT WAIT TO COME TO TECH YOU WILL NOT GET A CHANCE TO FIX ANYTHING THAT’S WRONG

    6. NO WELDING. FOUR WIRES OR CHAINS PER DOOR. FOUR WIRE OR CHAIN HOLD-DOWNS LOCATIONS FOR HOOD. FOUR WIRE OR CHAIN HOLD-DOWN LOCATIONS FOR TRUNKS. NO ADDITIONAL MATERIAL MAY BE ADDED. 9 WIRE CAN BE DOUBLE STRANDS AND CHAIN CAN BE NO BIGGER THEN 3/8 NO COMBINTIONS OF THE 2.

    7. MOVE THE BATTERY TO THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOORBOARD OR FRONT SEAT AREA. NO MILK CRATES, NO ZIP TIES, NO ZIP SCREWS CAN BE USED. METAL BATTERY BOX, BOLTED TO THE FLOOR.

    8. MOVE THE GAS TANK. (MAKE SURE ITS SECURE NO ZIP SCREWS)  MAY RUN THE STOCK TANK IF IT IS MOUNTED IN FRONT OF THE REAR AXLE AND IS SAFE. NO STOCK FULL SIZE TANKS ALLOWED INSIDE THE CAR.

    9. ANY SHIFTER ALLOWED

    10. ANY AIR FILLED TIRE ALLOWED, DOUBLED, TUBED AND FLAPS ALL OK

    11. NO AFTERMARKET PARTS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ANYTHING NOTED IN THE RULES.

    12. TRANSMISSION COOLER ALLOWED. NO CHEAP RUBBER HOSE AND OLD HOSE CLAMPS MUST BE SAFE.

    13. FLOOR MOUNTED BRAKE AND GAS PEDAL WILL BE ALLOWED ONLY 4 BOLTS NO LARGER THEN ½IN HOLDING IT TO THE FLOOR ONLY. BOLTED TO SHEETMETAL ONLY WITH STANDARD 1/2 IN WASHER. ANYTHING EXCESSIVE WILL BE REMOVED.

    14. ANY OEM CAR BUMPER OR A 3”X3” 3/16 TUBE CAN BE USED END MUST BE CAPPED WITH A ONE INCH INSPECTION HOLE IN EACH END NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS. MUST BE STOCK NO ADDED METAL OR SEAM WELDING. YOU CAN WELD A 6”X6” ¼ PLATE TO END OF THE FRAME RAIL TO MOUNT THE BUMPER TO NOTHING DOWN THE SIDES OF THE FRAME RAILS. BUMPER CAN BOLT TO THE PLATE WITH 4 BOLTS PER SIDE NO LARGER THEN 1/2IN OR BE WELDED DIRECTLY TO THE PLATE. THE SAME RULE APPLIES FOR MOUNTING THE REAR BUMPER. BOTH BUMPERS MUST BE 9 WIRED OR CHAINED ON IN 2 SPOTS, 3/8 CHAIN OR DOUBLE STRAND OF 9 WIRE. CAN NOT GO THREW THE BODY MOUNT

    24. A 4-POINT CAGE WILL BE ALLOWED – FOR DRIVER PROTECTION ONLY! ANYTHING IN EXCESS WILL BE FORCED TO CUT OR LOADED AT JUDGE’S DISCRETION. CAGE BARS CAN BE NO BIGGER THEN 3X3 TUBING, SIDE BARS CAN BE NO LONGER THEN 60INCHS AND CAN NOT GO ANY FURTHER BACK THEN WHERE THE SEAT MEETS THE KICK PANEL. CAGE MUST BE 5 INCHES FROM FLOOR AND CENTER OF THE FIREWALL. SIMPLE TANK PROTECTOR ALLOWED, OFF THE BACK BAR ONLY MUST BE 8 INCHES FROM ANY SHEET METAL, KEEP IT TIGHT TO THE TANK, DO NOT ABUSE THIS RULE OR WE WILL TAKE IT AWAY.

    25. HALO BAR ALLOWED MUST MOUNT OFF THE SEAT BAR AND RUN 90 DEGREES UP RIGHT DO NOT ANGLE THIS YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE IT.

    ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PROHIBITED. ANYONE CAUGHT IN VIOLATION OF THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES POLICY WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES.     COMPETITION RULES

    1. DRIVERS MUST REMAIN IN THE VEHICLE WITH HELMET, SEATBELT, EYE PROTECTION AND STEERING WHEEL ON UNTIL NOTIFIED BY AN OFFICIAL THAT IS SAFE TO EXIT THE CAR. LONG SLEVES AND PAINTS REQUIRED, FIREPROOF CLOTHING IS SUGGESTED

    6. ANY OPEN DOOR WILL BE CAUSE FOR DISQUALIFICATION. BROKEN SEAT WILL CAUSE FOR DISQUAIFCATION.

    7. YOU ARE ALLOWED ONE FIRE. A SECOND FIRE WILL BE CAUSE FOR DISQUALIFICATION. YOU MAY RETURN IN LATER ROUNDS.

    8. SANDBAGGING IS NOT TOLERATED AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. LOCKING UP BRAKES PRIOR TO A HIT FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN A DRIVERS DOOR HIT WILL BE CAUSE FOR DISQUALIFICATION. THE FANS PAY TO SEE A SHOW, PUT ONE ON FOR THEM!

    9. NO TEAMING THIS WILL CAUSE FOR DISQUALIFICATION.

      GENERAL

      1. ALL PARTS MUST BE FACTORY MANUFACTURER TO MANUFACTURER GM CAR MUST HAVE GM DRIVETRAIN .. GM MOTOR, GM TRANS, GM REAR FORDCO CAR MUST HAVE FORD DRIVETRAIN, FORD MOTOR, FORD TRANS, FORD REAR SAME GOES FOR ANY MAKE MODEL (IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL)

      2. ALL GLASS MUST BE REMOVED, EXCEPT THE WINDSHIELD. THE WINDSHIELD MAY REMAIN INPLACE.

      3. ALL PLASTIC BUMPER COVERS, MIRRORS, HEADLIGHTS AND TAILLIGHTS MUST BE REMOVED.

      4. ALL AIRBAGS MUST BE REMOVED.

      5. INTERIOR CARPET, PLASTIC MOLDINGS, AND REAR SEATS MUST BE REMOVED. FRONT PASSENGER SEAT MUST REMAIN IF NO CAGE IS USED

      6. ALL CARS MUST BE SWEPT CLEAN OF DEBRIS AND GLASS.

      7. THE FACTORY FUEL TANK MAY REMAIN IN THE ORIGINAL POSITION, ONLY IF LOCATED INFRONT OF THE REAR AXLE. ALL V8’S MUST MOVE FUEL CELL

      8. ALL ANTI-FREEZE MUST BE DRAINED FROM THE RADIATOR. WATER ONLY. FACTORY RADIATOR ONLY

      9. ALL DOORS MUST BE WIRED, CHAINED, OR BOLTED SHUT. MAXIMUM OF 2 LOCATIONS PER DOOR. DRIVERS’ DOOR MAY BE WELDED DOOR STRAPPING MAY BE A MAXIMUM OF 3-INCHES WIDE AND A DOOR SKIN MAY BE USED. IF NO DOOR SKIN IS USED YOU MAY RUN A PLATE FROM THE CAGE DOWN TO THE FLOORBOARD DO NOT ATTACH TO THE FRAME. THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY, DO NOT ABUSE THE RULE.

      10. BATTERY MAY BE RELOCATED INTO THE DRIVER’S COMPARTMENT. (THIS IS PREFERRED). IF RELOCATED, THE BATTERY MUST BE SECURELY FASTENED (BOLTED) IN A BOX TO THE FLOOR AND COVERED PREFERRED.

      11. A SIMPLE CAGE BAR MAY BE WELDED BEHIND THE SEAT, ACROSS THE DASH AND TWO SIDE BARS USED. SIDE BARS ARE TO BE NO LONGER THAN 60 INCHES AND MUST STOP AT OR BEFORE THE REAR KICK PANELS. FRONT (DASH) BAR CANNOT CONTOUR THE DASH FOR DRIVER’S SAFETY AND MUST REMAIN AT LEAST 5” FROM FIREWALL AT ALL POINTS. MUST BE SECURELY WELDED OR BOLTED. MAXIMUM 3-IN. BAR. ALL CAGE BARS MUST BE AT LEAST 5” FROM FLOOR.

    12. AN AFTERMARKET FUEL CELL, BOAT TANK, OR CUSTOM METAL TANK MAY BE USED. MUST BE SECURELY FASTENED (BOLTED) BEFORE INSPECTION. NO PLASTIC TANKS OR STOCK TANKS INSIDE THE CAR. NO LEAKING GAS. A SIMPLE TANK PROTECTOR WILL BE ALLOWED NO MORE THAN 3 INCHES WIDER THAN THE TANK. 7–10-GALLON TANK MAX. GAS TANK PROTECTOR MUST REMAIL 8” FROM ALL SHEET METAL.

    13. THE TRUNK MUST BE WIRED, CHAINED (3/16” MAX CHAIN) OR BOLTED SHUT (MAX 3/8” BOLT). MAXIMUM OF 2 SPOTS TOTAL.

    14. THE HOOD MUST BE WIRED, CHAINED (3/16” MAX CHAIN) OR BOLTED SHUT (MAX 3/8” BOLT) (CORE SUPPORT ONLY). MAXIMUM OF 2 SPOTS TOTAL. THE HOOD LATCH MUST BE REMOVED. A 12”X12” HOLE MUST BE PLACED IN THE HOOD, OVER THE ENGINE.

    15. STOCK/FACTORY PASSENGER CAR WHEELS AND TIRES ONLY. SPARE DONUT TIRES PERMITTED. TIRES MUST BE DOT APPROVED. NO SOLID

    16. TIRES, MUST BE AIR FILLED. NO WHEEL CENTERS OR WHEEL REINFORCEMENTS PERMITTED. ALL WHEEL WEIGHTS MUST BE REMOVED.

    17. HEADERS WILL BE ALLOWED

    18. FACTORY SHIFTER OR SIMPLE ROD SHIFTER WILL BE ALLOWED. NO AFTERMARKET.

    19. FACTORY PEDALS MUST BE USED. NO AFTERMARKET.

    20. ABSOLUTELY NO MODIFICATIONS TO THE SUSPENSION PERMITTED.

    21. IF WINDSHIELD IS REMOVED, A VERTICAL BAR, STRAP, CHAIN OR WIRE MUST BE USED TO PREVENT OBJECTS FROM ENTERING CAR. DO NOT USE TO STRENGTHEN CAR.

    22. FACTORY NON SEAM WELDED OEM CAR BUMPERS ONLY, BOLTED ON. A SINGLE PASS WELD WILL BE ALLOWED AROUND THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPER FOR MOUNTING PURPOSES ONLY. A SINGLE PASS WILL BE ALLOWED AROUND THE OEM SHOCKS IF THEY ARE COMPRESSED, AND AT THE BACKING OF THE BUMPER WHERE THE BUMPER SHOCK MEETS THE BUMPER. CALL IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.

    23. BUMPERS MUST BE WIRED IN TWO LOCATIONS TO SHEET METAL, NO SHOCKS INSIDE THE FRAME UNLESS OEM.

    24. NO OTHER MODIFICATIONS PERMITTED. IF NOT LISTED ABOVE, IT IS NOT PERMITTED.

    25. ALL ENTRIES WILL HAVE 2 CHANCES TO PASS INSPECTION. IF FAIL TO PASS ON 2ND ATTEMPT, YOU WILL BE CHARGED ANOTHER ENTRY FEE OR WILL FORFEIT YOUR ENTRY WITH NO REFUND!

    2. NO WELDING. 4 wires or chains per door. 4 wire or chain hold downs for hood. 4 wire or chain hold downs for tailgates. DRIVERS DOOR CAN BE FULLY WELDED AND CAN HAVE A ¼ SKIN ON THE OUTSIDE OR INSIDE FOR SAFETY, CANNOT GO FURTHER THEN 3 INCHES PAST FRONT OR REAR DOOR SEAM. No additional material can be added

    3. Move battery to passenger side floorboard or front seat area bolted to the floor in a secured box NO zip screws will be accepted. 2 BATTERIES ALLOWED

    4. Move gas tank. (make sure its secure, no zip Screws)

    5. ANY SHIFTER ALLOWED

    6. ANY AIR-FILLED TIRES.  NO SOLIDS AND NO SOLID WHEEL CENTERS, MAY RUN A SMALL MULTI LUG WHEEL CENTER

    7. Transmission cooler (fan or ice) will be allowed but must be secured.

    8. Stock pedals or aftermarket brake and gas pedal allowed

    9. Any OEM car bumper can be used or 6X6 WITH A 4 INCH POINT CARRIED OVER 32 INCHS 1/4 wall square tube ONLY, must be capped with a 2inch inspection hole in each end. You will be allowed (2) 6-inch plates to hold your bumper on ONLY, bumper can be welded on, FRONT AND REAR bumper must have 9 wire or chain in two locations through sheet metal (core support or hood) to hold them on.  It may go to the frame but must go through an existing hole or a factory bolt.  DO NOT WELD the chain to the frames. Chain no bigger than 5/16 and no more than 3 strands of 9 wire.

    10. No suspension modifications

    11. No body creasing

    12. No tucking, wedging, or folding of bedside will be allowed.

    13. No added bumper shocks

    14. Headers will be allowed.

    15. You can weld your rear center to make it posi, NO BRACED REAR ENDS

    16. Motor swaps allowed – weld the factory mounts in and that is it

    17. Slider driveshaft is allowed.

    18. No excessive mounts (max 8 inches of weld per mount)

    19. No added steel

    20. A simple lower engine cradle will be allowed with pulley protector

    21. Factory transmission mount and cross-member.

    22. A 4-point cage AND HALO will be allowed HALO MUST BE 90 DEGREES UP AND DOWN DO NOT ANGLE IT – for driver protection only! Anything in excess will be forced to cut or loaded at judge’s discretion.

    23. You may bolt the bed to the cab in 3 spots with bolts or threaded rod no larger than 5/8’s with washer no more than 3inch X3 inch

    24. DO NOT WELD...IF IT DID NOT COME OFF THE FACTORY FLOOR DO NOT DO IT.

    25. All cars must have a number or slogan displayed on each side of vehicle large enough for announcer to read, a roof sign is also highly recommended. No profanity or vulgar sayings. We have also been requested by our Fair boards to do away with middle finger flappers on the headers.

    Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Anyone caught in violation of the alcoholic beverages policy will be asked to leave the premises. All vehicles with be subject to search upon entry to the grounds. Anyone thought to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substance will not be permitted on the grounds. Violations by any driver or crew member will result in disqualification and removal from the grounds.
